Before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol solution, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated is the bottle ready to be refilled.

How should the bottle be properly cleaned before first use?

Before first use, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle, removing any dust or manufacturing residues and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. A short rinse of the inner surface of the packaging with alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, is practical. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature so that no alcohol or moisture residues remain.

How should this packaging be correctly disposed of or recycled if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be cleaned of product residues and placed in a container designated for glass, while the aluminum cap should be sorted into metal packaging collection where such collection is available in the municipality.
