Brown PET plastic medicine bottle represents a practical and lightweight packaging suitable for filling various liquid and powder preparations where protection of the contents and comfort during dosing are important. The brown coloration of the bottle helps protect more sensitive formulations from unwanted light, which is ideal especially for products prone to degradation when exposed to light. Thanks to the durable plastic material, this bottle – medicine bottle is suitable for professional and home use in cosmetics, small-scale/craft production and in laboratory environments.
Yes, the medicine bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene rules are observed, provided that the material is compatible with your formulation and the packaging shows no signs of damage. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 denatured plant-based, which you can find on the pages IPA 99 isopropyl alkohol 1 l and Etanol 96 denaturovaný rastlinný 1 l. After applying the disinfectant, allow the internal space of the packaging to dry thoroughly at room temperature.
PET material is more sensitive to high temperatures, therefore cleaning with lukewarm to mildly warm water and a gentle cleaning agent that is compatible with your production (e.g. neutral detergents) is recommended. Do not expose the packaging to boiling or hot steam and do not wash it in a dishwasher, where deformation may occur. After washing, rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water, allow it to drain and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol as needed in order to achieve the highest possible level of hygiene before the next filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, its recycling is recommended in accordance with the material designation given in the product parameters. The medicine bottle is made of PET plastic, therefore after thoroughly emptying and rinsing it with water, place it in the appropriate container intended for plastic waste, or according to local separate collection rules. When recycling, it is advisable to separate the bottle from the cap and any inserts if they are made of a different material. Always follow the icons and designations of the recycling symbols given in the parameter table next to the product and the recommendations of your collection company.
The PET packaging is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. With long-term exposure to heat, hot water or steam, the walls and the thread may soften or deform, which will negatively affect the sealing and the appearance of the packaging. Boiling, steam sterilisation and use in a dishwasher are not recommended. During storage, avoid direct contact with heat sources such as radiators, industrial furnaces or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight at high temperatures. For disinfection, prefer a chemical method using a suitable alcohol rather than thermal treatment.
To select a suitable bottle, medicine bottle or other packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. The advanced filter allows you to narrow down the range clearly according to key parameters, such as the type and diameter of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, colour variant or material used. This allows you to quickly find a combination of packaging and closure that will meet your formulation and the visual requirements of your brand, without having to browse through the entire range at length.
The brown PET medicine bottle is designed to provide good light protection and mechanical support for common cosmetic and technical formulations. For more complex formulas that contain a higher proportion of essential oils or alcohol, however, it is always recommended to carry out your own compatibility test – fill a smaller quantity of the product, monitor any changes on the walls of the packaging and on the thread and verify stability under the intended storage conditions. In the case of more aggressive or highly concentrated components, follow the recommendations of the raw material supplier and, if necessary, also consider alternative packaging materials that are specifically intended for this type of contents.
