The plastic medicine bottle with spray pump represents a practical packaging material for precise and hygienic dosing of liquid preparations in the form of a fine spray. Thanks to the combination of a lightweight plastic bottle and a functional spray pump, it is suitable for filling preparations where even application in a small amount and convenient use at home as well as while travelling is important.
This packaging is designed for liquid cosmetic formulations and other solutions that require reliable spraying without the content coming into contact with the surroundings. The dark design of the medicine bottle also helps to reduce light penetration to more sensitive components, thereby supporting the stability of the contents under proper storage conditions.
This medicine bottle is supplied in combination with a spray pump that is adapted to the specific neck and volume of the container. Combinations of packaging and caps that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying the sealing, the reliability of dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation you plan to fill.

Before first use, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the packaging with suitable clean water or a medium compatible with your product and then disinfecting it. For disinfecting the inner surface as well as the spray pump, it is appropriate to use alcoholic solutions, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. After disinfection, allow the bottle and the spray pump to dry completely and only then proceed to filling, in order to prevent dilution or deterioration of the formulation.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if strict hygiene rules are observed and taking into account the nature of the filled product. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the medicine bottle and the spray pump, check their mechanical integrity and then disinfect them with a suitable alcoholic preparation. For disinfection we recommend using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, which you can find on Handymade in the raw materials category: IPA 99 isopropyl alkohol 1 l and Etanol 96 denaturovaný rastlinný 1 l. Only after complete drying is the packaging ready for refilling.
The spray pump is ideal for liquid, low-viscosity formulations without larger undissolved particles that could clog the nozzle. It is recommended to use clear to slightly cloudy solutions without coarser pigments or solid parts. Before final filling, always test the behaviour of the mixture in a small amount: check whether spraying does not slow down, whether the nozzle does not leak and whether the dosing corresponds to your requirements for product application.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material type given in the parameter table at the product on Handymade. First use up or safely remove any remaining contents according to the nature of the preparation, then rinse the packaging and separate the individual parts if they are made of different materials (bottle, spray pump, cap). Then dispose of each part in the container designated for the respective type of plastic according to local waste sorting rules. In this way you reduce the environmental burden and enable more efficient recovery of the material in the recycling process.
