Plastic bottle – medicine bottle with white and gold spray pump represents a practical and aesthetic packaging solution for liquid preparations that require fine and even atomization. Thanks to the combination of a high-quality plastic body and a functional spray pump, it is suitable for packaging cosmetic formulations, facial and body care products, as well as for professional use in salons or workshops. Yes, the packaging can be reused for normal home and craft use, provided it is not mechanically damaged and the functionality of the spray pump is preserved. With every refilling, however, it is essential to pay attention to hygiene – the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and, before refilling, disinfected with a suitable alcoholic preparation (for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based). This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and deterioration of the new fill.
Before reuse, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, then rinsing it several times with clean water and allowing it to dry well. Then disinfect the inner surface of the packaging and the parts that come into contact with the product with an alcohol solution, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. For the spray pump, it is advisable to also “spray through” part of the disinfectant solution through the mechanism so that the internal capillary is cleaned. Before filling with a new product, allow the packaging to dry completely.
The spray pump is primarily intended for low- to medium-viscosity liquids that can be evenly sprayed. With thicker or strongly oil-based formulations, reduced flow or formation of irregular droplets may occur. We recommend starting with a small trial fill and testing the behaviour of the product during spraying. If the texture is too thick, another type of dispenser (for example a pump or dropper) from the Handymade.sk range may be more suitable.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material designation specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in the sorted waste collection, it is advisable to empty the bottle and, if necessary, rinse it to remove product residues. The body of the medicine bottle itself should be placed in the appropriate container according to the type of plastic, while the spray mechanism may consist of several materials and, depending on local sorting rules, may belong in mixed waste or in a specific fraction. Always follow local waste sorting guidelines and the material designation on the packaging.
