Is this blue glass bottle suitable for all types of oil-based cosmetic products?

The bottle is generally suitable for most common oil-based cosmetic formulations, such as facial, body, massage or nail oils. However, we recommend that you perform your own test for every new formulation – check the behaviour of the product in the packaging, the consistency during dosing and the longer-term stability during storage, so that you can be sure that the combination of packaging and specific formulation is optimal for your purpose.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before every new filling, the bottle and the dosing element must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for cosmetic use – for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based are available. Only after drying and checking cleanliness is the bottle ready for the next filling.

How should I store this glass bottle correctly so that the contents remain stable for as long as possible?

To maintain the stability of the contents, we recommend storing the filled bottle in a dry, cooler and shaded place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Always close the packaging carefully after use to minimize contact with oxygen and moisture. For products with a higher proportion of essential oils or sensitive active substances it is advisable to also monitor the expiry date and regularly check the fragrance, colour and consistency.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition indicated in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be placed, after removing residual contents and labels, into the container designated for glass. Plastic components of the dispenser or closure must be sorted according to the type of plastic indicated in the technical data and according to local waste-sorting rules. Before recycling, always check the parameter table of the given product on the website, where you will find information about the material used, so that you can sort the packaging as accurately as possible.
