Plastic bottle – pharmaceutical-style bottle with black cream dispenser and smoked top represents a practical packaging solution for precise and hygienic dispensing of various cream and emulsion preparations. Thanks to the integrated dispenser, it is particularly suitable for products where a controlled amount and minimisation of the contact of the contents with air and the user’s hands are important. This type of packaging is popular for smaller batches, testers, travel sizes and for professional cosmetic use.
This bottle with integrated dispenser is selected to create a functional and convenient set for cream products. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – particularly with regard to sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, type of emulsion, presence of oils or active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The dispenser is designed primarily for cream and emulsion preparations with standard cosmetic viscosity. It is suitable for most facial and body creams, gel-cream textures and lighter emulsions. For very thick balms or highly viscous products, we recommend performing a test before filling in order to verify smooth dispensing and complete emptying of the bottle.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly, but always with strict adherence to hygienic principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and all parts of the dispenser must be mechanically cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol ALK001 – IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol ALK002 – Ethanol 96 %. Allow the disinfectant to evaporate and only then refill the packaging.
First, empty the dispenser as much as possible and disassemble the accessible parts according to the possibilities of the construction. It is recommended to rinse with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and a mild detergent, taking care that no residues of the cleaning agent remain. Then disinfect all parts with alcohol (ALK001 or ALK002), allow them to dry thoroughly and only then reassemble and refill. For very thick or pigmented products, it is advisable to carry out a trial filling with a smaller amount of the new formulation.
When selecting a suitable bottle or pharmaceutical-style bottle, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find the filter at the top of the page, where you can clearly sort the packaging according to several parameters – especially by neck type, required size, colour and material. This allows you to quickly find the packaging that best matches the character of your product and the planned dispensing.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend first emptying it as much as possible of cream residues. The subsequent method of recycling is governed by the material designation given in the product parameters on the page, where you will find information about the respective type of plastic and the recommended fraction of sorted waste. Before placing it in the collection container, it is advisable to at least briefly rinse the bottle in order to minimise the amount of cosmetic residues in the waste stream. For composite packaging, it is ideal, where possible, to separate the bottle and the dispenser and sort them according to the stated material.
