Clear plastic shows both the colour and the amount of the contents, so the customer can see what they are buying and how much is left. PET is lightweight and does not break when dropped, so it is fine in a handbag or during transport. The sprayer screws directly onto the bottle neck, and its dark finish with a gold ring suits perfumes, samples and gift sets.

How the set works

• Fine dispersion – with each press the sprayer releases a small dose as a fine mist, approximately 0.14 ml. Both water-based and alcohol-based contents are applied evenly without dripping.
• Suction from the bottom – the sprayer tube reaches the bottom of the bottle, so almost all of the contents can be used.
• Clear packaging – you can see the liquid level and any change in the colour of the contents. It does not, however, protect the contents from light.
• Nozzle protection – the clear overcap protects the nozzle from dirt and accidental pressing in a bag.

What it is suitable for

The set is most often used for perfume samples and alcohol-based fragrances, where the small volume and the fine sprayer dispense exactly as much as the customer expects. It also works for hydrosols and toners in travel size, for light face and hair mists, or for room fragrance sprays.

Thicker emulsions, oils and products with thickeners do not belong in the sprayer, as the nozzle is designed for thin, watery contents. For oil serums and pure vegetable oils, choose packaging with a dropper or pump.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the amount the bottle is intended for under normal filling. Physically, more fits up to the neck. This difference is a reserve for the tube and the dipped part of the sprayer and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. Fill the bottle to the nominal volume, not to the brim. An overfilled bottle will push part of the contents out when the sprayer is screwed on, and may leak when warmed.

Good to know

Preparation before first filling. Wash the bottle and the sprayer before use, disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and leave them to dry completely. Empty packaging is not sterile, and moisture inside shortens the shelf life of water-based products.

Sprayer tube. If the tube is longer than the bottle, shorten it with an angled cut so that it rests lightly against the bottom when screwed on. A straight cut at the bottom can block suction, while an angled one keeps it working even with the last remainder of the contents.

Material and contents. PET is commonly used for aqueous solutions, hydrosols and alcohol-based fragrances. With a high proportion of undiluted essential oils, strong solvents and aggressive chemicals, we recommend checking compatibility on a single piece. The same applies to the sprayer, whose seal and mechanism come into direct contact with the contents.

Food contact. Only the bottle has a certificate for direct food contact. The sprayer does not have one, so the set as a whole is intended for cosmetics.

Recycling. The bottle is made of PET and belongs in plastic waste collection. The sprayer combines plastic with aluminium; separate it from the bottle before disposal.
