Product description

A plastic bottle with dispenser for 100 ml is a ready-made combination of packaging and closure for liquid and semi-liquid cosmetic products dispensed in small doses: liquid soaps, shower gels, shampoos, body lotions, facial emulsions, and cleansing gels. The bottle made from transparent PET is lightweight and shatter-resistant, making it suitable for both the bathroom and travel. It also shows the colour and quantity of the contents. The black-and-silver dispenser gives the product a neat appearance and allows one-handed dispensing without opening the bottle.

How the set works

One press of the dispenser delivers approximately 1 ml of product, making it easy to portion economically and evenly. The contents are drawn through a dip tube from the bottom, so the bottle remains closed during use. The contents do not come into contact with fingers or shower water, which helps maintain the cleanliness of water-based products throughout their entire period of use.

The dispenser dip tube is supplied longer than the height of the bottle so that it can be adapted to different containers.

Before fitting the dispenser, trim the dip tube with clean scissors so that it reaches just above the bottom of the bottle. A diagonal cut prevents the end of the tube from suctioning against the bottom, allowing the bottle to be emptied with almost no residue.

What products is it suitable for

  • Liquid soaps and shower gels – the dispenser handles both thin and medium-viscosity gels, and the soap dispenser can be operated one-handed.
  • Shampoos and conditioners – the 100 ml volume is practical for travel-size packaging and samples of your own formulations.
  • Body and facial milks, light emulsions – the dose is easy to gauge and the product stays uncontaminated without scooping.
  • Cleansing gels and micellar preparations – the transparent bottle shows how much product remains.

Products with coarse particles (scrubs with granules, salt, herb pieces) clog the dispenser; a jar is more suitable for these. Very thin liquids such as tonics or hydrolats are better applied with a spray pump.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the volume for which the bottle is designed under normal filling conditions. Total volume to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck and is slightly larger. This difference serves as a buffer for the dip-tube dispenser mechanism, which displaces some of the contents when fitted, and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim.

Good to know

Before first use, wash both the bottle and dispenser, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allow to dry completely. The easiest way to disinfect the dispenser is to pump a disinfecting solution through it several times.

PET does not tolerate high temperatures. Do not fill the bottle with hot product and do not boil it, as it may deform. Allow the product to cool before filling.

For products with a high content of essential oils, alcohol, or solvents, we recommend testing how the plastic behaves with the specific formulation beforehand.

The set is suitable for contact with cosmetic products; the declaration of conformity is available on the product page. It is not intended for use with food. Dimensions required for label design are listed in the specifications. The bottle is made of PET and, once the dispenser is removed, belongs in sorted plastics; the dispenser is made from multiple materials.

Other closures with the same neck type (listed in the specifications) and other ready-made combinations are available in the Handymade range. When creating your own combination, we recommend verifying the seal, dosing performance, and packaging behaviour with your specific formulation.

Frequently asked questions

How much product does the dispenser on the 100 ml plastic bottle deliver per press?
One full press of the dispenser delivers approximately 1 ml of product. The actual dose depends on the viscosity of the product; for thicker gels and emulsions it may be slightly less. Before first use, press the dispenser several times until the dip tube fills and the product begins to dispense evenly.
Does the dispenser dip tube need to be trimmed before fitting it on the bottle?
Yes, the dispenser dip tube must be trimmed to the height of the bottle. It is supplied longer so that it can be adapted to different containers. A tube that is too long will bend inside the bottle and the dispenser will not draw reliably; one that is too short will leave unused product at the bottom. Correctly trimmed, the tube ends just above the bottom and has a diagonal cut.
Is the plastic bottle with dispenser suitable for thick creams?
The plastic bottle with dispenser is not suitable for thick creams and butters, as the dispenser cannot draw them reliably. It works well with liquid soaps, gels, shampoos, lotions, and lighter emulsions that flow on their own. If you are unsure about the consistency, test the dispensing on a small sample before filling an entire batch.
Can the plastic bottle with dispenser be reused?
Yes, both the bottle and dispenser can be reused if cleaned thoroughly. Wash the bottle with warm — not hot — water and detergent, pump clean water through the dispenser followed by a disinfecting solution, then allow everything to dry completely. If residue from the previous product remains in the mechanism or the dispenser loses suction, it is best to replace it with a new one.
Does the transparent plastic bottle protect the contents from light?
No, the transparent PET plastic bottle allows light through and does not protect the contents from it. For standard liquid soaps and shampoos this generally does not matter. However, products containing vegetable oils prone to oxidation, natural colorants, or essential oils may change colour or scent over time when exposed to light. Store such products in a cupboard or away from direct sunlight.
