The glass bottle with spray pump is a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various cosmetic and technical preparations in liquid form. Thanks to the durable glass and high-quality mechanical spray pump, it is ideal for products that require fine and even misting onto the skin, hair, surfaces or into the air. The green glass also helps limit light penetration to more sensitive formulations, which contributes to the stability and longer shelf life of the contents.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators), depending on the selected parameters. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure of safe and reliable use.

The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly washing the bottle and the spray pump, mechanically removing residues of the previous product and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation (for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol). For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only then is the bottle ready to be refilled.
To maintain full functionality of the mechanism, it is advisable to occasionally flush the spray pump with clean water or diluted alcohol and press the pump several times to rinse out product residues from the dip tube and spray head. For thicker or more oily formulations, it is suitable to disassemble the spray pump between different products, clean it mechanically and then disinfect it. This will prevent nozzle clogging and a reduction in spray quality.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials used, as specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle can, after being emptied, rinsed and cleared of any content residues, be placed in a container designated for glass. The plastic spray pump and any other plastic parts should be separated from the bottle and sorted according to local recycling rules for plastic packaging. By following this procedure, you support effective waste sorting and reduce environmental impact.
This bottle with spray pump is most suitable for low-viscosity liquids, such as aqueous solutions, hydrolats, light toners, alcohol-based sprays and light oil blends with sufficiently thin consistency. With very thick or highly oily mixtures, the functionality of the spray pump may become limited. Before finally filling a larger quantity of product, we recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in a smaller volume to verify dosing smoothness and spray quality.
