Liquid silk acts as a natural skin moisturizer.
It is hydrolysed silk protein in water and glycerine. It is made by hydrolyzing pure silk from caterpillar silk.
Liquid silk is a simpler alternative to solid silks, especially when it comes to mixing cosmetic blends. It makes the skin feel softer and smoother. This silk forms a natural protective layer on the skin while nourishing it.
It is also effective in hair care products such as shampoos and conditioners. It adds nourishment and shine to the hair. Liquid silk contains amino acids that create a silky-soft feeling on the skin. These amino acids also have antioxidant abilities.
It is added to the aqueous phase.
