The plastic medicine bottle with spray pump represents a practical solution for dosing liquid preparations that require gentle application in the form of a spray. The dark version of the packaging helps limit light exposure to more sensitive formulations and contributes to longer stability of their properties. Thanks to the functional spray pump, the packaging is suitable for products where even distribution and comfortable use are important.
The packaging is designed for cosmetic, hygiene and technical preparations according to the needs of the formulation. The high-quality plastic material of the medicine bottle, in combination with the dispensing mechanism, enables professional packaging of smaller batches as well as final products intended for sale.
This packaging is supplied as a medicine bottle + spray pump combination, with the dispensing mechanism matched to the type of neck and the volume of the bottle. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if you follow basic hygiene rules and its further use is suitable from the point of view of your formulation. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the bottle and the spray pump – ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated is it appropriate to fill the packaging again.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically rinsing the packaging with a suitable cleaning component and then disinfecting it with an alcohol solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the inside of the bottle, the dip tube and the spray head to dry thoroughly so that no alcohol residues remain in the packaging that could affect the finished product.
If you do not plan to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over to separate collection, it is advisable to remove product residues, rinse the bottle and, if possible, separate the plastic parts (body of the medicine bottle, spray pump, any cap). Then place the individual components in the appropriate container in accordance with local recycling rules and the material labelling on the packaging.
Spray pumps of this type are primarily intended for low-viscosity liquid formulations based on water or alcohol. With thicker emulsions or oils, spraying performance may deteriorate or the mechanism may clog. In the case of oil-based or distinctly viscous products, we recommend testing the dosing functionality on a small trial sample before final bottling.
