Have you already come across Cupuacu butter?

This vegan butter with a very exotic name is very closely related to cocoa butter (cocoa butter is produced from the cocoa tree Theobroma cacao and cupuacu from the cocoa tree Theobroma grandiflorum).

While cocoa butter is hard and its rich dark chocolate scent immediately activates your taste buds as well, cupuacu also smells like chocolate, but greener, fresher and more penetrating. It is more of a hint of chocolate.

CUPUACU BUTTER - CHARACTERISTICS

Cupuacu butter has a much wider spectrum of fatty acids, which in this case represents a much higher percentage of fatty acids with a shorter chain. The butter is much softer, which allows it to penetrate deep into the skin. From a nutritional point of view, the butter has a lot of omega fatty acids and antioxidant polyphenols. In addition to basic vitamins and nutrients such as B vitamins, amino acids, flavonoids, calcium, selenium and at least nine antioxidants including vitamins A and C, cupuacu additionally provides a protective barrier against UV rays and helps prevent skin damage caused by the sun.

For this nutritional value it has earned the status of King of superfruits. An interesting finding is also the fact that this butter has a high water absorption capacity, which makes it an excellent choice for dry skin. In this respect it is basically unrivalled, because it retains water in a volume of up to 240% of its weight.
These two properties predestine the butter to support the treatment of the skin, which it can protect, nourish and treat in depth.

In addition to the skin, it is an excellent choice also for hair care products.
