Blue Glass Bottle, Black Spray, 10 ml

A blue glass bottle with a capacity of 10 ml and a black fine mist sprayer is intended for small amounts of liquid cosmetics that you want to apply as a mist. Blue glass blocks part of the light, so it suits hydrosols, toners and facial mists, which lose their fragrance faster in clear packaging. The size suits travel packs, customer samples or a small batch you want to try before filling larger bottles.

The set consists of a glass medicine bottle and a plastic sprayer made of polypropylene with a clear tube. Both parts are declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products. The set is not approved for contact with food, so choose different packaging for homemade syrups or herbal infusions.

What it is suitable for

• Hydrosols and toners – water-based solutions are applied evenly by the sprayer without your hands touching the contents, which reduces the risk of contamination during everyday use.
• Facial and hair mists – light water-based or water-alcohol formulations that should stay on the skin or hair without being rubbed in.
• Alcohol-based preparations – perfume waters and skin tinctures. Neither alcohol nor essential oils damage glass; for the sprayer, we recommend testing resistance with your specific blend.
• Samples and travel packs – a volume of 10 ml lasts for several days of use, and the set is light and takes up little space.

Filling and dispensing

The bottle is filled to the nominal volume of 10 ml, not to the brim. The brimful volume stated in the parameters is larger. The difference is a reserve for the sprayer tube and for the closure. If you pour in more, some of the liquid will overflow when you screw on the sprayer.

One press of the sprayer dispenses approximately 0.14 ml. With 10 ml of contents, that corresponds to about 70 presses, which helps when planning the usage rate of active ingredients in a leave-on product.

Good to know

Before first filling, wash and disinfect the bottle and the sprayer with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and leave them to dry completely. Residual water in the tube would dilute the contents and, for products without a preservative, shortens the time for which you can use them safely.

The set can be used repeatedly. Before adding new contents, take it apart, rinse the tube with clean water and press the head several times empty to flush out residues of the previous formulation. Fragrances and dyes may be partly retained in the plastic of the sprayer, so for sensitive products choose a new sprayer instead.
