You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging category. Is it possible to use this glass bottle repeatedly?

Yes, the glass packaging can be reused if handled carefully, provided that strict hygiene rules are followed. Before each refilling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with an appropriate agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use products available on Handymade, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after it has completely dried is the packaging ready for another safe filling.

For which type of products is this glass bottle most suitable?

The bottle is ideal mainly for concentrated cosmetic preparations that are applied in smaller amounts – for example facial and eye serums, oil elixirs, intensive treatment courses or aromatherapeutic blends intended for external use. Thanks to the possibility of combining it with droppers, pipettes or other dispensers, it is suitable wherever you need precise, hygienic and controlled dosing of a smaller product volume.

How should I correctly clean the glass bottle before refilling it?

First remove the residues of the original product by rinsing with a suitable medium (for example warm water with a mild detergent that is compatible with the original formulation). Then rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all residues of the cleaning agent. After mechanical cleaning, the packaging must be disinfected – ideally using alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % plant-based denatured. After disinfection, allow the bottle to dry completely in a clean, dust-free place and only then refill it.

How should I correctly dispose of or recycle this packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. After emptying and basic cleaning, the glass container is normally placed in the glass recycling bin, while any plastic or metal parts of the closure should be separated and sorted according to local recycling rules. Before placing it in sorted collection, it is advisable to remove coarse product residues from the packaging to facilitate its processing in the recycling system.
