The green glass bottle with a glossy dispenser represents an elegant and professional packaging solution suitable for various liquid cosmetic formulations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and precise dispensing, it is ideal for filling products where controlled and hygienic application is important. The tinted glass helps protect the more sensitive contents from external influences, which contributes to longer stability and quality of the final product.
This type of glass bottle is designed to be compatible with several types of closures and dispensing systems, depending on the selected parameters in the Handymade offer. It can be combined, for example, with screw caps, dropper systems, sprayers or practical applicators that are intended for the given neck type.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are followed. However, before each new filling it is essential to thoroughly clean the packaging and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example with Isopropyl alcohol 99% or 96% plant-based ethanol. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of the stability of the new formulation being affected by residues of the previous product.
We recommend first rinsing the bottle mechanically with warm water and a mild cleaning agent to remove residues of oils or emulsions. Then it is advisable to rinse the packaging thoroughly with clean water, let it dry, and only then perform disinfection with alcohol – for example using IPA 99% or denatured ethanol. For the dispenser we recommend checking the function of the spring and seals, and for more viscous oils also checking whether the nozzle is not clogging.
When choosing a suitable dispensing method, base your decision on the type and viscosity of the formulation. Light serums and watery products often suit classic pumps or dropper systems, while oil blends may work better with a gentler pump or dropper that allows controlled application of a smaller amount. We always recommend making a trial batch, filling it into the selected packaging with the relevant dispenser and testing the real behaviour – whether the dose is not too large, whether the nozzle does not clog and whether the packaging does not leak during transport.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend placing it into sorted waste collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the packaging can usually be put into a container intended for glass, while the plastic or metal parts of the dispenser should be separated and sorted according to local waste management rules. Before recycling, it is practical to at least roughly rinse the bottle to minimise product residues and to facilitate processing in the recycling process.
To quickly find suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which is available at the top of the page after entering the relevant category (for example bottles, vials or dispensing packaging). In the advanced filter you can clearly select parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material of the packaging, as well as other specific properties. By combining several filters, you can easily narrow down the selection to packaging that best matches your formula, the visual identity of your brand and the planned dispensing method.
Yes, this type of bottle is very practical for development and test series when you need reliable and representative packaging for internal stability tests, sensory evaluation or presenting samples to clients. The tinted glass helps reduce the effect of light on sensitive components, the dispenser allows precise and repeatable product withdrawal, and at the same time you have the opportunity to observe the real behaviour of the closure during longer-term use or repeated opening and closing.
