INULIN

Did you know that probiotics and prebiotics can also be used in your products?

We have a great tip for you ????
INULIN

This is a polysaccharide that is extracted from chicory roots.

Source: https://www.indiamart.com

It consists of 90% inulin and 10% fructose.
It is a prebiotic that supports the skin's own macrobiotics (which is actually a mixture of all microbes such as protozoa, viruses, bacteria, fungi. Generally, the skin microbiota is similar in humans, although never exactly the same) and the growth of bacteria that are necessary for the skin.
It also stops the growth of unwanted and harmful pathogens.

So by adding prebiotics to your products, you are not just adding one type of microbe, but a whole range (there are more than 1,000 species), whetheryou allow the skin to regulate its own supply of beneficial microbes based on the individual macrobiotic status of the skin.

And one more very important piece of information ☝️
the effects of inulin are not deactivated by the preservative system like probiotics. This means that if you add a natural preservative to your product, it will not destroy the effect of the probiotics.

However, in order to not destroy or reduce the effect of prebiotics, you need to incorporate this powder properly into the manufacture of your product.

The maximum temperature at which a prebiotic will survive is less than 60 ̊C and a pH of 4.3-10.0.
The powder is easily soluble in water.

Inulin can be used in all hair (and scalp) and body cosmetic products such as:
???? shampoos
???? micellar waters
???? toners
???? serums
???? emulsions
masks
???? shower gels

Available in 50 g and 100 g packs.
