Saponins are a natural alternative to surfactants.
These are 100% plant saponins obtained from camellia, specifically from its seeds, which were first pressed to extract the oil and then the saponins were extracted. The resulting powder contains >60% saponins.
The saponins produce a rich foam in combination with a gentle cleansing effect on contact with water. They can be used in shampoos, facial cleansers, micellar waters, shower gels, bath foams and also for powdered skin cleansers. Saponins soften the skin, have anti-inflammatory effects, and help fight acne.
