Do you also love that feeling when you lie down in a bathtub full of hot water, a book in your hand, ideally also a glass of champagne :), and you are the only one in the room, completely alone... So why not combine the pleasant with the useful and treat to relaxation not only your soul but at the same time also your skin. :)
Oil pralines are an excellent alternative to bath oil because they combine several great butters and oils and make the most of them for your skin. The skin beautifully absorbs them and after the bath you do not need to apply cream. Simply throw one praline into the hot water and enjoy the relaxation. Ivet will share with you the procedure of how to make such pralines at home easily and simply.
To make bath pralines we need:
65g cocoa butter unrefined25g shea butter12g apricot oil10-15 drops of essential oil eucalyptus or your favourite fragranceProcedure: 1. Weigh cocoa and shea butter into a bowl and melt in a microwave or water bath.
2. Add apricot oil and mix3. Pour into a silicone mould – preferably small ice cube moulds and let set in the refrigerator.
4. Remove from the mould and store in a cooler place.Cocoa butter has a high content of vitamin E and natural antioxidants. It softens dry skin and helps to maintain its natural moisture. It is easily absorbed. It heals burns, eczema and dermatitis, minimises wrinkles and also pregnancy stretch marks. Eucalyptus essential oil supports concentration and has a beneficial effect in migraines. It has antibacterial, soothing, healing and stimulating effects.
