Fragrance Oil Sandalwood & Myrrh is a concentrated aromatic blend intended for professional and hobby use in the production of cosmetics, candles and home fragrances. Thanks to its stable composition, it is suitable for perfuming liquid and semi-solid products, where it provides a balanced, long-lasting scent with a warm, earthy character.
The oil is formulated so that it can be easily dosed into various types of packaging – from smaller bottles and dropper bottles to larger containers. It is particularly suitable for cosmetic and technical applications, where consistent fragrance, good miscibility and stability over time are required.
Bottles and dropper bottles suitable for Fragrance Oil Sandalwood & Myrrh are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Fragrance Oil Sandalwood & Myrrh is intended for perfuming cosmetic and home products; however, its suitability for a specific type of formulation must always be verified using a test batch. It is recommended to start with a lower dosage and verify fragrance stability, colour change and product behaviour under normal conditions of use. For sensitive facial cosmetics proceed with particular care and respect the recommended maximum fragrance concentrations for the given type of product.
The recommended dosage of the fragrance oil depends on the type of wax, the diffuser base and the desired intensity of the fragrance. Usually, several percent of the total weight of the blend are used, and it is advisable to prepare a small test batch and evaluate the intensity after the candle or diffuser has fully cured. It is important to mix the oil thoroughly with the wax or diffuser base and to follow the processing procedure recommended for the specific carrier material.
To preserve fragrance quality, we recommend storing the fragrance oil in a well-closed bottle or dropper bottle, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Cooler, dry and dark places are ideal, as they minimize oxidation and evaporation of volatile components. After each use, close the packaging carefully and limit unnecessary contact with air so that the aroma does not change and remains stable over time.
The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are followed. Before refilling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example with isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of transferring residues of the original fragrance to the new product. If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend cleaning it properly, sorting it according to material and placing it in the appropriate collection container in accordance with the local recycling rules given in the product parameters.
After the fragrance oil has been used up, we recommend first emptying the packaging, allowing any residues to drip off or wiping them with a paper towel and, if possible, rinsing it. Then sort the packaging according to the material specified in the parameter table on the Handymade product page and place it in the appropriate type of sorted waste (for example glass or plastic). Metal or plastic closures and droppers usually belong in a different type of container than the bottle itself, so it is advisable to separate the individual components of the packaging. By following these principles, you will contribute to effective recycling and waste reduction.
The simplest way to select suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging materials category. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find the filter at the top of the page, where you can conveniently select the required parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. By combining several filters, you can quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that best matches your specific product and intended use.
