Glass vial with aluminium cap represents a professional packaging solution for liquid and partially viscous formulations where precise dosing, reliable sealing and a representative appearance are required. The combination of high-quality glass and a functional metal closure helps protect the contents from contamination and supports the stability of the finished product during storage and use.
This type of small bottle is suitable for packaging cosmetics, serums, special concentrates and various blends where chemical resistance of the packaging, easy handling and repeatable reclosability are important. The smooth glass surface and compact shape make labelling easier as well as practical use in home cosmetics, artisanal production or smaller professional batches.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters in the offer. They can be combined for example with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, which makes it possible to adapt the dosing to the specific viscosity and purpose of the product.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – to verify sealing, dosing, stability and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation during real use and storage.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass vial can be safely used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle, checking the integrity of the thread and the cap, and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Packaging prepared in this way is more suitable for refilling and helps minimise the risk of microbiological contamination.
Before first and repeated use, we recommend mechanically cleaning the packaging from dust residues, rinsing it with a suitable cleaning solution and allowing it to dry thoroughly. Afterwards it is appropriate to disinfect the inner surface and the thread with an alcohol-based product, for example the product IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Before filling, make sure that no water or cleaning agent remains inside, which could affect the stability or consistency of your formulation.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, it is appropriate to place it in sorted collection according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. After emptying and basic cleaning, place the glass part of the packaging in the container intended for separated glass waste. The aluminium cap should ideally be sorted separately into metal collection, if your local sorting system allows this. By separating the individual materials you support more efficient recycling and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
The vial is ideal for smaller volumes of concentrated cosmetic preparations such as serums, oil or water concentrates, active blends and test formulations. You will use it for packaging facial oils, special hair drops, intensive treatment blends and add-on products to basic cosmetic products. Thanks to its compact shape, it is also suitable for travel-size packaging or trial samples within smaller production batches.
To make it easier to choose suitable packaging, you can use the extended filter available at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. With the help of the filter you can clearly sort the packaging according to neck type, size, colour and material used. By combining these parameters, you will create a narrower selection of suitable bottles, jars or pots and more easily find the packaging that best matches your product, technological requirements and the visual style of your brand.
