Amber Matte Glass Bottle, Black Spray, 30 ml

The matte amber glass bottle with a capacity of 30 ml and a black fine mist sprayer is a ready-made set for facial mists, toners, hydrosols and perfumed waters, that is, thin liquids that are applied by spraying. Amber glass limits the amount of light reaching the contents, so the set suits formulations with essential oils, plant extracts or vitamins, which lose their scent or effect in light. The black fine mist sprayer with a clear dip tube fits the 18/410 neck finish of the bottle without any additional adapters.

The set is declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products and is intended for cosmetic use.

Filling and dispensing

Fill the bottle to its nominal volume of 30 ml, not to the brim. The brimful capacity listed in the parameters is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between the two values is a reserve for the sprayer’s dip tube, which displaces part of the volume, and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. If the bottle is filled to the neck, the contents will overflow when the sprayer is screwed on.

The sprayer delivers approximately 0.14 ml per pump, so 30 ml corresponds to more than two hundred pumps. The dose is approximate and depends on the viscosity of the contents and how hard you press.

Good to know

The sprayer works best with water-based and alcohol-based contents of low viscosity. Thicker oils, gels or emulsions usually will not be dispersed into a mist; they are more likely to come out in a stream or clog the sprayer. For formulations with an oil component, it is therefore worth running a test with a small amount.

The sprayer is made of polypropylene. For contents with a high proportion of pure essential oils or solvents, we recommend checking the tightness and the behaviour of the mechanism with your specific formulation before the set is used for a whole batch.

Both parts can be washed and reused once they are empty. For recycling, unscrew the sprayer and sort the plastic separately from the glass.
