FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Is this bottle more suitable for thicker or rather for thin liquids?

The sprayer is constructed primarily for thin liquids that create a fine spray or mist. With formulations that are too thick or highly viscous, dosing may deteriorate or the nozzle may become clogged. We therefore recommend, before series filling, to carry out a trial filling and to test the uniformity of dispersion as well as the long-term functionality of the sprayer.

Is it possible to use this bottle repeatedly for different products?

The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, both the bottle and the sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. When changing the type of product (for example from a perfume composition to a facial toner), we recommend paying exceptional attention to cleaning and flushing the sprayer mechanism, so that no mixing of fragrances or residues of the previous product occurs.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the bottle before the next filling?

Before repeated filling, it is appropriate to rinse the bottle mechanically, remove residues of the original product and then disinfect the inner surface and the sprayer. For disinfection we recommend using alcohol-based preparations such as isopropyl alcohol or plant-based denatured ethanol. After applying the disinfectant, it is important to allow the packaging to dry thoroughly at room temperature. Avoid exposing plastic parts to high temperatures in order to prevent deformation or damage to the function of the sprayer.

How should the packaging be properly disposed of or recycled if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend its recycling according to the type of material specified in the parameter table for the product. Before handing it over for separate collection, empty the packaging as much as possible and remove any residue of the contents. Then follow local recycling rules – place the bottle and the sprayer components in the appropriate container according to the type of plastic. In the case of composite materials, it may be necessary to separate individual parts (for example the cap and the sprayer body) and sort them according to the recommendations of your collection system.
