Glass medicine bottle with cream dispenser and smoky top is a professional packaging suitable for comfortable, hygienic and precise dispensing of thicker cosmetic formulations. The solid glass helps maintain the stability of sensitive active substances, while the dispensing mechanism minimizes the contact of the contents with air and fingers, which is important when packaging creams, serums and special treatment preparations.
This type of bottle is optimized for liquid to semi-solid products for which controlled dosing and clean application are desired. The visually interesting smoky top has an aesthetic effect and at the same time completes the premium character of the packaging for artisanal and professional cosmetics.
This product represents a combination of bottle and dispensing system that is designed as a functional unit. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to verify the suitability of the packaging for your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle is in terms of material suitable for most common cosmetic recipes containing active substances, because glass is a stable and inert material. However, for each new formulation we recommend performing your own stability test – checking the behaviour of the product in the packaging over time (colour, fragrance, texture) and also verifying the functionality of dosing during long-term use.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle and the dispensing part, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Take care to thoroughly dry all parts and make sure that no water or residues of the original product remain in the dispensing mechanism, in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the new batch.
Before filling we recommend that the cream or emulsion is homogeneous, free of lumps and of suitable viscosity for the given type of pump. Fill the bottle slowly, along the walls of the container, to minimize the formation of air bubbles. After filling, assemble the dispenser according to the instructions, close it and, by pumping several times, verify whether the mechanism dispenses smoothly. For thicker formulations it is appropriate to carry out a longer practical test so that you can be sure that dispensing is comfortable throughout the product’s entire period of use.
If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend recycling it according to the type of the individual parts listed in the product parameters. The glass bottle can be thrown into the container intended for glass after removing product residues. Plastic or metal components of the dispenser are sorted according to their material into the appropriate containers for separated collection. Before handing the packaging over for recycling, it is advisable to rinse it so that no larger residues of cosmetic product remain in it.
For easier searching of suitable packaging, there is an extended filter which you can find in the upper part of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Thanks to the filter, you can clearly choose the required parameters – neck type, size, colour and packaging material. By combining these criteria you can quickly narrow down the offer only to options that correspond to your formulation, brand design and the planned method of dispensing.
