The cap is designed for bottles and vials with a compatible 24/410 thread within the Handymade assortment. When selecting, we recommend combining it only with packaging for which the same neck specification is stated in the product parameters. In this way you achieve reliable sealing and convenient screwing without the risk of loosening or slipping.

Can I reuse the cap when making my own cosmetics?

The cap can be reused provided you observe basic hygiene principles and regularly check its condition (sealing surface and thread). Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect not only the bottle itself but also the cap. For disinfection, we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol from our range – you will find them as the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After applying the disinfectant, allow all parts to dry completely.

How should I properly clean and maintain the plastic cap so that it remains functional?

For routine cleaning, washing with lukewarm water and a mild detergent is sufficient, followed by rinsing with clean water and thorough drying. Avoid aggressive chemicals and excessive mechanical stress in the area of the thread and sealing surface to prevent damage. Before refilling, it is always advisable to disinfect the cap with a suitable alcohol solution and allow it to dry completely, thereby minimizing the risk of microbial contamination of the contents.

How should I correctly dispose of and recycle the plastic cap if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the cap any further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic specified in the parameter table for the product. First remove any remaining contents and, if necessary, rinse it to remove product residues. Then place it in the appropriate container for sorted collection according to the material marking. By recycling you reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of raw materials instead of throwing it into mixed municipal waste.
