Plastic bottle made from high-quality PET represents a lightweight and practical container suitable for professional and artisanal filling of various liquid formulations. Thanks to its reliable construction and compatibility with several types of closures, it is ideal for cosmetic products, homemade preparations and semi-professional series. The PET material provides good resistance to common cosmetic and hygienic ingredients, so the bottle is suitable for everyday use in the bathroom, salon and while travelling.
Bottles from this series are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). When choosing a closure, it is appropriate to take into account the viscosity of the contents, the desired application method (fine spray, dropping, pouring) and the comfort of the end user. Before filling a larger series, we recommend testing the dosing, back-suction and any changes in the properties of the packaging during long-term contact with the formulation.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. Since this is a container made of PET material, it should not be exposed to high temperatures. Contact with hot media or prolonged heating may lead to deformation of the packaging and loss of its original shape. For these reasons, the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning and disinfection we recommend using suitable disinfectant solutions at room temperature in accordance with hygienic recommendations.
Yes, the container can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection should take place at room temperature, without exposing the PET material to high temperatures. After thorough drying, the bottle can be safely refilled with a suitable product.
First, we recommend rinsing the container with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent to remove residues of the original contents. Then it is appropriate to rinse the bottle with clean water, let it drain and dry it at room temperature. After drying, it is necessary to disinfect the inner surface using a suitable alcohol solution (for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). PET material is not suitable for boiling or washing in a dishwasher, because at high temperatures there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its properties.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information given in the parameter table at the product page on Handymade.sk. Before handing it over to sorted collection, it is appropriate to rinse the container, remove any residual contents and, where possible, separate any closure or dispenser if it is made from a different type of plastic. The PET bottle body itself is normally placed in the container intended for plastic waste, which supports its reprocessing and reduction of environmental impact.
PET containers are not intended for contact with hot or freshly cooked products. The material may be sensitive to high temperatures, which pose a risk of deformation of the bottle and reduction of its mechanical stability. We recommend filling only completely cooled or at most slightly lukewarm formulations that do not cause softening or bending of the container walls. If you work with emulsions or solutions prepared by heating, it is advisable to cool them first to room temperature and only then fill them into the PET bottle.
