The glass bottle – medicine vial with black child-resistant cap is a practical packaging intended for precise dosing and safe storage of various liquid preparations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the safety closure, it is suitable for packaging products where protection of the contents from external influences as well as from unwanted opening is important, which you will appreciate for professional formulations as well as for home-made recipes.
The packaging is ideal for liquid and slightly viscous products that require reliable sealing and convenient handling. High-quality glass contributes to the stability of the composition, minimizes interaction with the contents and supports a longer shelf life of the finished preparations.
The glass medicine vials in this category are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected at purchase. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass bottle – medicine vial is designed to provide stable and reliable packaging for a wide range of cosmetic preparations, including concentrated serums and active solutions. However, we recommend always testing the specific formulation in a smaller amount and monitoring the behaviour of the product under the intended conditions of storage and use.
The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination as well as undesirable changes in the scent, colour or stability of the new product.
Before reusing, first mechanically remove any residues of the original product, rinse the packaging with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water and then rinse it several times with clean water. After thorough drying, we recommend disinfecting the bottle and the closure with an alcohol solution, for example using the preparations available in the alcohol category on Handymade, and allowing the remaining alcohol to evaporate freely. Only then is the packaging ready for new filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules and the information given in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website. After emptying and rinsing, dispose of the glass bottle as standard into the container designated for glass. The plastic child-resistant cap should be separated and sorted according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. By following these principles, you will contribute to responsible handling of packaging and to its further processing in the recycling process.
