Glass bottle – medicine bottle with silver matte dropper is a practical and elegant packaging intended for the precise dosing of liquid formulations. The combination of high-quality glass and a functional dropper ensures comfortable use when filling cosmetic and special blends where control over every drop is important.
This type of packaging is suitable for filling serums, oils, active concentrates, essential oils or other drop preparations where increased protection of the contents and reliable, hygienic dosing are required. Thanks to the combination of medicine bottle and dropper, contact of the contents with the external environment is minimized and the risk of contamination during use is reduced.
This glass bottle – medicine bottle with dropper forms a functional unit, and combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying the sealing, the uniformity of dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, since product compositions may differ significantly.

Before the first filling we recommend mechanically cleaning the packaging and then disinfecting it in accordance with hygiene principles. For disinfecting the inner walls and the dropper you can use a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. After disinfection, let the medicine bottle and the dropper air out and dry thoroughly so that no residues of the cleaning agent remain in the packaging, which could affect your formulation.
The glass medicine bottle and the dropper can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the packaging in order to prevent microbial contamination or undesired mixing of residues of the previous product with the new formulation. For disinfection we recommend, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the alcohol, let the packaging dry completely and air out.
If you want to minimise running down the neck, ensure adequate filling of the medicine bottle and do not exceed the recommended filling level so that overpressure does not occur in the neck during handling. Always tighten the dropper firmly, but not with excessive force, so that the sealing seats correctly. When working with more viscous or very thin formulations we recommend carrying out a short test – check the dripping speed and the tightness of the closure during transport and storage and, if necessary, adjust the composition or method of application.
If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials used, as stated in the product parameters. The glass part of the medicine bottle is usually placed in a container intended for glass after any product residues have been removed. The dropper is typically a combination of several materials (plastic, rubber, possibly metal components), so it should be separated from the glass and the recommendations of the local waste collection system should be followed. Before recycling, it is always advisable to empty the packaging as much as possible and remove any remaining product.
