The packaging is suitable for cosmetic solutions, serums, solutions with active ingredients, but also for various technical and auxiliary blends used in the production of homemade preparations. When choosing packaging, we recommend taking into account the nature of your formulation (content of oils, alcohol or active substances) and performing a trial compatibility test before final filling to verify the stability of the product in contact with the plastic and closure used.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is important to thoroughly clean the bottle and cap and then disinfect them, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol. Disinfection helps to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and extends the shelf life of your product. At the same time, we do not recommend exposing the packaging to high temperatures; do not boil it or wash it in a dishwasher to avoid deformation.
For cleaning we recommend using lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, avoiding high temperatures and aggressive solvents that could affect the properties of the plastic. After thorough rinsing, let the packaging dry naturally and always disinfect it with a suitable alcohol before refilling. The packaging is not intended to be washed in a dishwasher or boiled, as high temperatures pose a risk of deformation and reduced functionality of the closure.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in the appropriate sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters on the Handymade website. Before disposal, empty the bottle and cap, or rinse them from product residues. Then place each part in the correct container according to local recycling rules. In this way you will support the efficient processing of plastics and reduce the amount of waste.
