Dried leaves have a pleasant scent. They can even be used as a green or yellow colorant. Birch supports hair growth and prevents dandruff formation. It eliminates spots on the skin. It releases clogged pores and acts against cellulite.

The leaves can be used as a component of soaps, shampoos, conditioners and facial toners.
