You offer many packaging options – how can I find the right one for my product?

All bottles, vials, jars and closures can be conveniently filtered using the extended filter at the top of the page after opening the selected category. In the extended filter you can combine several criteria at once – for example, the type and diameter of the neck, the size of the container, the colour or the material. This allows you to quickly find a bottle or jar that will be compatible with the cap and at the same time meet the requirements of your product.

Is it possible to reuse the aluminium cap when filling new batches?

The cap can be reused if it maintains good mechanical condition and sealing properties, but always with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the cap and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ target="_blank") or Ethanol 96 denatured vegetable (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ target="_blank"). Such treatment reduces the risk of microbial contamination as well as the transfer of residues from the previous formulation.

For which type of products is this aluminium cap most suitable?

The aluminium cap 24-410 is most often used for closing cosmetic bottles and vials with liquid or slightly viscous contents – for example facial and body oils, hair serums, toners, aromatherapy blends or technical solutions for home formulations. Suitability for a specific formula must always be verified by your own test, especially in the case of a high proportion of essential oils or alcohol.

How should I properly test the sealing and compatibility of the cap with my formulation?

After filling a small test amount of the product into the selected bottle, carefully tighten the cap and gently turn the container several times into different positions to check the sealing. Then observe the container for several days under conditions similar to real storage – watch for any moistening of the thread, leakage of contents, changes on the surface of the cap or degradation of the sealing insert. If no changes or odour appear as a result of contact between the material and the formulation, you can consider the combination suitable for normal use.

How should I proceed with recycling if I decide not to use the cap any further?

If you do not want to reuse the cap, we recommend, after basic cleaning and removal of product residues, sorting it according to the material designation given in the product parameters. Aluminium caps are usually classified as metal packaging, depending on the local sorting system. Before placing it in the appropriate container, separate the cap from the bottle so that the individual materials can be processed separately and recycled more efficiently.
