The black plastic 24/410 disc top cap is a practical closure designed for convenient dispensing of various liquid preparations in cosmetics as well as in the household. Thanks to its “disc top” construction, it enables precise and controlled squeezing of the bottle contents without unnecessary splashing, which you will appreciate during everyday use. The closure is designed so that when properly screwed on it ensures reliable sealing of the packaging and reduces unwanted leakage during storage or transport.
This plastic cap is intended to complement compatible bottles and vials with the corresponding neck type. When selecting a suitable container, we recommend checking the match of the neck and the parameters stated for the given packaging in order to achieve reliable sealing and comfortable dispensing. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

To make it easier to choose packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can clearly select parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material of the packaging and quickly find the bottle, vial or jar that best matches your formulation and the required dosing.
The closure can be reused provided that its technical integrity is preserved, but we always recommend following strict hygiene rules. Before each new filling, the bottle and cap should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with a suitable preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96%. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination or deterioration of the new batch of your product.
The disc top closure is ideal for liquid and mildly viscous products that are used in smaller amounts and are applied directly from the bottle into the palm of the hand or onto a cotton pad. Typically these are body and face milks, shower gels, shampoos, cleansing and make-up remover solutions, hair tonics, oil blends for the body and various hygiene solutions for the household or personal care.
When testing compatibility, first check the match of the neck according to the product parameters and then fill the selected bottle with your formulation. After screwing the closure on tightly, leave the packaging for several days under the planned storage conditions and monitor the sealing, the smoothness of dosing, any changes in the colour or surface of the plastic, and the behaviour of the mechanism during repeated opening. A short transport test is also recommended (for example placing the bottle on its side) to verify that no spontaneous leakage of the product occurs.
If you decide not to use the cap any further, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, placing it into sorted waste collection according to the type of plastic stated in the product parameters for the given packaging. Always follow local rules for waste separation and recommendations for recycling the specific material so that the plastic can be efficiently recovered in the recycling process. In the case of heavily soiled or contaminated packaging, it is advisable to consult its disposal with the local collection yard or waste management company.
