The black 24/410 plastic flip-top cap is a practical closure designed for convenient dispensing of liquid and gel products in smaller volumes. Thanks to the flip-top mechanism, it allows quick one-handed opening and controlled squeezing of the contents, which you will appreciate during everyday use of cosmetics or other preparations. This closure is suitable for various types of bottles and vials with a matching neck, where it ensures reliable sealing and minimizes the risk of unintended leakage.
This flip-top cap is intended to be combined with compatible bottles and vials with the same neck type. Within the Handymade.sk range you will find several packaging options with which it forms a functional unit and enables convenient dispensing of liquid preparations as needed. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The closure can be used repeatedly with proper handling, as long as it remains mechanically undamaged and seals well on a compatible bottle. For each reuse, we recommend following hygiene principles – before filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol. Only afterwards is it appropriate to refill the packaging with the selected product.
After screwing the cap onto the bottle, check whether the closure sits evenly around the entire circumference of the neck and that there are no visible gaps between the threads. Then fill the bottle with a small amount of product or water, close it tightly and briefly turn it upside down. If no leaks appear and the flip-top closure holds firmly in the closed position, the combination of packaging and cap is suitable for normal use in terms of sealing. For more viscous or reactive formulations, it is advisable to perform a longer test under real storage conditions.
The flip-top closure is particularly practical for liquid and gel preparations where fast handling and controlled dosing are required. These are mainly shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, liquid soaps, body and facial lotions, emulsions, as well as body and massage oils. It is also suitable for laboratory or artisan formulations where you need to dose a smaller amount of product without completely unscrewing the closure.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend first emptying it and removing any remaining contents. Then follow the information on the material type stated in the product parameters on Handymade.sk and the waste-sorting system in your country. Plastic parts usually belong in the plastic waste container, and it is advisable to separate the cap from the bottle if they are made of different materials. Recycling according to the recommendations of the local waste collection system helps reduce environmental impact and extend the life cycle of the materials used.
