The flat cotton wick with thinly wound fibres is made by processing the paper fibre in combination with an advanced braiding technique, therefore giving the EKO series excellent stability without the need for a core. This combination enhances the self-cleaning effect and reduces the formation of "fungus"(the charred wick does not fray and does not form sponge-like deposits), soot and smoke. ECO wicks work very well in natural waxes and blends, as well as in paraffin waxes with low melting temperatures.

To choose the right wick , it is important to know the diameter of the candle container. If the size is small, the candle will not burn to the edge and will form a tunnel. If the wick is too thick, the wax will melt too much and the whole candle will melt instead of the wax melting gradually and evenly.
