Product description

Blue Tansy essential oil is a rare essential oil also called Moroccan chamomile. It is extracted from the flowers of the Tanacetum annuum plant, which is traditional to Morocco.

Blue Tansy essential oil is also characterized by its deep blue to indigo color that stains skin and clothing, which is also why this oil should not be applied undiluted to the skin. As with other essential oils, add Blue Tansy essential oil to a carrier oil before application.

Blue Tansy combines a subtly sweet, floral scent with herbal notes. Overall, Blue Tansy essential oil is considered a middle or top note with a pleasant refreshing and soothing scent. It helps to improve the condition of irritated skin, lends itself to shampoos for itchy scalps or dandruff, and has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. You can also use Blue Tansy in products for tired and stiff muscles or in products for acne-prone skin or after insect bites.

You can find the maximum recommended dosage for each type of product in the IFRA standards, for example, usually up to 1%.

All raw materials supplied are cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. Please use appropriate protective equipment when handling.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?

Essential oils, or essential oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from different parts of plants - stems, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic scent and also have medicinal and protective properties. They have a very positive effect on symptoms on a physical, emotional or mental level.

Their chemical composition is quite complicated. Essential oils are most often obtained from plants by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are applied directly to the skin only after dilution with carrier plant oils (almond, apricot, jojoba, etc.). The only exceptions are tea tree and lavender essential oils, which can be applied directly.

Use essential oils for inhalation or in your beauty products, we do not recommend consuming any essential oils of any brands.

Essential oils are fat soluble, so if you want to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent /solubilizer/.

HOW DO I USE ESSENTIAL OIL?

Cosmetic and soap making - the amount of essential oil needed depends on the specific recipe and the quantity being made.
Inhalation, steaming - drip a few drops of essential oil into an aromatherapy bottle, diffuser, or container of hot water.
Bath - mix drops of oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dcl of milk or in a spoonful of honey, pour this mixture into the bath. The essential oils themselves are insoluble in water, the drops would float on the surface.
Massage - add a few drops of essential oil to cold pressed vegetable oil (approx 50 ml) and mix well. Pleasant massage.
Sauna - choose from conifer, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus scents. The amount of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your taste.

Essential oils are also popularly used in skin care, topical compresses, hair masks, oral care...
