Before first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle (rinsing with a suitable cleaning agent, followed by clean water) and then drying it thoroughly. Before contact with the formulation, it is appropriate to disinfect the inner surface of the container and the parts that come into contact with the contents with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the alcohol, allow all parts to air out and dry completely, and only then fill the container.

The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dispensing mechanism must be disassembled as far as possible, cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol do we recommend filling the packaging again, in order to reduce the risk of microbial contamination as well as an effect on the stability of your formulation.

The dispenser is designed for comfortable and controlled withdrawal of the contents, therefore we recommend always starting with one to two pumps and then gradually adjusting the amount as needed. For thicker creams, it may be appropriate to „pump through“ the bottle several times after filling, so that the system is vented and the dosing is smooth. If you change the type of formulation (for example from a very light fluid to a richer cream), it is appropriate to practically test the dosing and adapt the method of use.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material listed in the product parameters. The glass part, after emptying and basic cleaning, is usually placed in the container intended for glass, and the plastic and combined components of the dispenser and cap must be separated according to their material designation (plastics or possibly mixed waste if they cannot be sorted). Before handing over to sorted waste, it is appropriate to remove product residues in order to simplify subsequent processing in the recycling process.
