Glass bottle – pharmaceutical bottle with spray pump is a practical packaging intended for precise and hygienic dosing of liquid preparations in the form of a fine mist. Thanks to the combination of high-quality glass and a functional spray pump, it is suitable for filling various cosmetic solutions, toners or serums that require even application to the skin or hair. Glass is a stable and proven packaging material which, when used correctly, supports the long-term quality and appearance of the filled product.
Glass bottles – pharmaceutical bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verify sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oily/basic nature, etc.).

The bottle with spray pump is intended mainly for low-viscosity liquid preparations such as toners, facial waters, light hair solutions and aromatic sprays. With thicker emulsions or oils, spraying may be limited, therefore we recommend always creating a small test batch and checking whether the spray pump ensures even dosing according to your needs.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and disinfected with a suitable alcoholic solution, for example using IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % of plant origin, which you can find in the Handymade range (IPA 99, ethanol 96). Disinfection helps minimise the risk of microbial contamination and unwanted reactions between residues of the previous product and the new formulation.
After emptying the packaging, first rinse the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinse it thoroughly with clean water and allow it to dry. Rinse the spray pump several times with lukewarm water so that the water passes through the entire mechanism. Afterwards we recommend disinfecting the internal surfaces of the bottle and the mechanism of the spray pump with a suitable alcoholic agent, for example the IPA 99 or ethanol 96 products from the Handymade range, and allowing them to dry thoroughly at room temperature before reuse.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the type of material stated in the product parameters. After rinsing, the glass bottle is usually placed in the container intended for glass, and the plastic spray pump belongs in the container for plastics or in the collection of small plastic waste according to local rules. Before recycling, remove any product residues so as not to hinder the efficient processing of materials in the recycling process.
