Glass medicine bottle with black and gold spray pump represents an elegant and functional packaging for precise and hygienic dosing of liquid preparations in the form of a fine mist. Thanks to high-quality glass and a precisely manufactured mechanical spray pump, it is suitable for filling various cosmetic and technical solutions that require comfortable application onto the skin or a surface. The darker, smoky glass also helps protect more sensitive contents from unwanted light.
The glass bottle is generally suitable for most common alcoholic and aromatic blends used in cosmetics and in the production of home sprays. However, in view of the diversity of formulations, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – filling a smaller amount of the product, monitoring any changes in colour, fragrance, clarity or in the condition of the spray pump, and verifying that the spraying mechanism works reliably even during longer storage.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and spray pump must be thoroughly washed, rid of residues of the previous product and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol. For disinfection we recommend using for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol 1 l or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based 1 l. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely at room temperature. Only then is it ready to be refilled with a new formulation.
We recommend storing the filled medicine bottle in a dry place, at a stable room temperature, and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. Although the smoky glass helps to reduce exposure to light, for optimal stability of sensitive components (for example essential oils or active substances) it is advisable to avoid long-term exposure to high temperatures and intense light. When handling, make sure the spray pump is tightly fastened to prevent unwanted leakage of the contents.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information given in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can in most cases be put into a container intended for glass after removing any remaining contents. The spray pump, which is made up of several materials (plastic, metal springs), generally needs to be sorted according to the instructions of your collection company or disposed of in mixed waste if local rules do not allow more detailed sorting. Before throwing it away, make sure that no residues of hazardous chemical substances are left in the packaging.
