The glass bottle represents a professional packaging suitable for filling various liquid and partially viscous products, where purity, stability and the long-term preservation of the quality of the contents are important. The smooth surface is ideal for labelling and creating a unified visual appearance of cosmetic and artisanal products, while glass is naturally inert towards most common formulations.

Glass vials are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass packaging can be reused with proper handling and adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the vial, check its integrity and then disinfect it with a suitable product, for example with isopropyl alcohol or with denatured plant ethanol. Only after it has completely dried is the vial ready for refilling.
First, we recommend removing the residues of the original product from the packaging using warm water and a suitable cleaning agent that does not leave a film or fragrance. Afterwards, it is advisable to use potable water for thorough rinsing, let the vial drain and dry. Before refilling, it is necessary to disinfect the vial using alcohol, for example IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %, and only use it again after the alcohol has completely evaporated.
If you decide not to use the vial any further, it is recommended to remove any remaining contents, optionally give it a basic rinse and then sort it into separated collection according to local rules for glass recycling. Glass packaging is usually placed in the container designated for glass; any plastic components (cap, dropper, spray head) should be separated and sorted according to the material type indicated in the product parameters. When handling broken glass, it is necessary to observe basic safety principles and not to throw fragments loosely into municipal waste.
