Glass bottle – transparent milky jar with cream dispensing is a professional packaging intended for filling creamy, emulsion and lightly gel-based formulations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and precise dispensing system, it is suitable for liquid and semi-liquid products where controlled application, cleanliness and the aesthetic appearance of the finished product are important. It represents a reliable choice for artisan and small-scale cosmetics, where the emphasis is on hygiene, stability and a representative look of the packaging.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly, provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean and disinfect the packaging thoroughly in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the Handymade range: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the inner surface of the container has completely dried is the bottle ready for refilling.
First mechanically remove the residues of the original product, then rinse the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and rinse well with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After washing, it is advisable to disinfect the inside of the packaging with alcohol (e.g. IPA or ethanol from the Handymade range) and let it dry naturally at room temperature upside down. For the dispensing parts, pay attention also to the narrow channels and seals to prevent clogging or deterioration of the pump functionality.
The glass vial with dispensing is suitable for most common creamy, emulsion and gel preparations. For very thick or highly viscous formulations, we recommend first testing the behaviour during dispensing in order to verify the smoothness and comfort of application. It is also advisable to check compatibility with the preservatives, oils and active substances used to ensure trouble-free long-term use.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. The glass part can generally be placed in the container intended for glass after removing product residues and any plastic components. The plastic parts of the closure or dispensing system are sorted according to the specific material, which is listed in the technical description of the packaging. Before disposal, it is important to remove any product residues from the bottle so that the recycling process is as efficient as possible.
On Handymade, when making your selection, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. Thanks to the filter, you can quickly narrow down the range according to parameters such as neck, size, colour and packaging material. By combining these criteria, you can easily find a suitable bottle, vial, jar or container for the specific type of cosmetic or other product.
