The plastic medicine bottle with aluminium top represents a professional packaging solution for cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations, designed for safe and comfortable packaging of various liquid and powder products. Thanks to the high-quality plastic body and the solid metal closure part, the contents are reliably protected against external influences, undesirable evaporation and contamination during storage and transport. The packaging is suitable for home crafting as well as for smaller artisanal or branded series where a clean appearance, practical dosing and an emphasis on hygiene when in contact with the contents are important.
Plastic bottles – medicine bottles with aluminium top are designed in the Handymade range so as to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters. Depending on the specific container, they can be paired for example with screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators, which makes it possible to adapt dosing to the character of the contents.
Combinations of containers and closures created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing accuracy and the behaviour of the container in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil phase, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The container can be reused provided it is handled appropriately and its mechanical integrity is maintained. For each new filling it is necessary, however, to clean the medicine bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. This procedure helps to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and extends the safe use of the packaging.
Before reuse we recommend rinsing the container with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and a mild detergent, rinsing it thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. Afterwards, the internal surfaces and the contact parts of the closure must be disinfected – for example with alcohol-based preparations such as IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated is the container ready for new filling.
The combination of a rigid plastic body and an aluminium top provides good mechanical protection of the contents during normal storage and carrying. For more sensitive formulas we recommend paying attention to correct storage according to the nature of the product (protect from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures and humidity) and always carrying out your own stability test in the selected combination of container and formula. For products with special requirements regarding barrier properties it is advisable to verify also the long-term behaviour of the contents in contact with the packaging material.
If you decide not to reuse the container, we recommend placing it, after emptying and basic rinsing, into sorted waste according to the type of material specified in the parameter table for the product. It is advisable to separate the plastic body and the metal top from each other before discarding, so that each component can be recycled in the appropriate collection stream (plastic / metal). In the case of product residues containing oils or other substances, it is suitable to follow local rules for disposal of cosmetic and chemical residues in order to minimise the impact on the environment.
When choosing a suitable packaging you can use the extended filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the extended filter it is possible to combine several parameters at once – for example the type and diameter of the neck, the size of the container, colour or material. Thanks to this, you can easily display only those small bottles, medicine bottles, jars or other packaging materials that meet the requirements of your formulation and the intended dosing method.
When filling, we recommend working in the cleanest environment possible, using suitable tools (funnels, pipettes, measuring cups) and not overfilling the container above the recommended level so that there is space left for safe closing. Before the actual filling it is important that the medicine bottle is dry, clean and disinfected. During storage it is advisable to protect the container from excessive heat, direct sun and mechanical damage. This will support longer stability of the contents and of the container itself and minimise the risk of leakage or changes in the properties of the product.
