Before the first filling we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle, then cleaning it thoroughly and disinfecting it. For disinfection it is suitable to use alcohol solutions, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After treatment with alcohol, let the packaging dry completely at room temperature and only then fill it with the selected product.

Is it possible to use this bottle repeatedly?

Yes, the glass roll-on can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. However, before each new filling it is important to clean the bottle and the roll-on mechanism thoroughly and then disinfect them using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and ensures safe use for subsequent batches of the product.

For which type of products is the roll-on bottle most suitable?

How do I correctly fill the roll-on so that there is no leakage or formation of bubbles?

When filling we recommend using a funnel, dosing syringe or pipette so that you have better control over the amount. Do not fill the bottle completely to the brim – leave a small air gap, which will make it easier to insert the roll-on mechanism and reduce the risk of overflow when closing. After pressing in the roll-on ball, gently turn the bottle over several times so that the ball is evenly coated with the product and the dosing is smooth. If you use thicker blends, a test batch is recommended to verify application comfort.

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend first emptying it and removing product residues. The glass body of the bottle can usually be placed in the container designated for glass according to local waste-sorting rules, and the plastic or composite parts of the cap and roll-on mechanism belong in the separated plastic collection or in mixed waste, depending on the material specified in the parameters of the particular product. Always follow local recycling rules and the information in the parameter table so that disposal of the packaging is as environmentally friendly as possible.
