The brown glass helps protect more sensitive contents from light, which contributes to the stability of active ingredients even during longer storage. Thanks to the gentle application, the packaging is suitable for products where targeted dosing and clean application without contact with the hands are important.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle and then cleaning and disinfecting it thoroughly. For disinfection, it is suitable to use alcohol solutions, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. After treatment with alcohol, let the packaging dry completely at room temperature and only then fill it with the selected product.
Yes, the glass roll-on can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, however, it is important to thoroughly clean the bottle and the roll-on mechanism and then disinfect them using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and ensures safe use for subsequent batches of the product.
The roll-on bottle is ideal especially for liquid and semi-liquid preparations with low to medium viscosity that are applied locally in a thin layer. In practice, it is often used for oil perfumes, aromatherapeutic blends, herbal oil macerates, facial and eye serums, roll-on deodorants or blends for targeted treatment of specific skin areas. It is always advisable to test in a small amount whether the blend dispenses smoothly and without clogging through the roll-on.
When filling, we recommend using a funnel, dosing syringe or pipette to have better control over the quantity. Do not fill the bottle completely to the rim – leave a small air gap, which will make it easier to fit the roll-on mechanism and reduce the risk of overflow when closing. After pressing on the roll-on ball, gently turn the bottle several times so that the ball is evenly coated with the product and the dosing is smooth. If you are using more viscous blends, a test batch is recommended to verify the comfort of application.

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend first emptying it and removing any product residues. The glass body of the bottle can usually be placed in the glass container according to local waste sorting rules, while the plastic or composite parts of the cap and roll-on mechanism belong in separated plastic collection or in mixed waste, depending on the material specified in the parameters of the particular product. Always follow local recycling rules and the information in the parameter table so that disposal of the packaging is as environmentally friendly as possible.
