Glass bottle – medicine bottle represents a professional packaging suitable for filling various liquid and partially viscous products where precise application and reliable protection of the contents are important. Thanks to the glass used, it is a stable, chemically resistant and hygienic packaging that is suitable for laboratory, cosmetic and craft use. The compact shape of the medicine bottle allows convenient storage, transport and dosing in smaller quantities.
Glass bottles – medicine bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing methods, such as screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators – always according to the selected parameters of the specific closure in the Handymade.sk range. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. For all combinations, however, we recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, content of oils, alcohols or acids), so that you can be sure of the long-term functionality and safety of the product.

Yes, the glass medicine bottle is suitable for smaller test batches as well as for samples of cosmetic preparations. The compact volume allows you to prepare test quantities of serum, oil blends or active concentrates without unnecessary waste of raw materials. Thanks to the stable glass, you can better monitor the behaviour of the formulation over time and then scale it up into larger packaging.
The medicine bottle can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly, remove residues of the previous product and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and of the new formulation being affected by residues of the previous product.
Before first filling, we recommend first cleaning the bottle mechanically (rinsing with a suitable cleaning agent and thoroughly rinsing with water) and then disinfecting it with an alcohol-based preparation, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely so that there is no residual moisture inside that could affect the stability or consistency of the product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material stated in the parameter table for the product on Handymade.sk. The glass bottle usually only needs to be emptied, freed from coarse product residues and placed in the appropriate glass container according to local recycling rules. Closures or any plastic or metal parts should preferably be sorted separately according to their material. In this way, you reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of raw materials.
