This glass bottle – medicine bottle with pre-fitted sprayer forms a complete combination of packaging and dispensing element, which is particularly suitable for products in spray form. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products with a higher content of alcohol or essential oils.

Yes, the bottle and the sprayer can be used repeatedly if handled appropriately. To ensure hygienic safety, it is important that you clean and disinfect the packaging thoroughly before each new filling. We recommend using a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely and only then refill them with the product.
The sprayer is ideal in particular for low-viscosity liquids that need to be applied in the form of a fine spray or mist. In practice, it is used for facial and body sprays, hair tonics, hydrolats or aromatherapeutic sprays for external use. For thicker emulsions and oil blends, we always recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing whether the dosing proceeds smoothly and without clogging.
First, disassemble the bottle and the sprayer into individual parts, if their construction allows this. Wash the glass part with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Then we recommend disinfecting the packaging – for example using alcohol-based products such as IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. For the sprayer, it is advisable to flush the internal channels with clean water and then with the disinfectant solution, pressing the mechanism several times so that the solution passes through the entire system. Before refilling, make sure that all parts are dry.
If you decide not to use the bottle with sprayer any longer, we recommend first emptying the packaging and removing any remaining contents. The glass part should be handed over to the separated glass collection according to local regulations. Dispose of the sprayer and plastic components according to the recommendations given in the parameter table by the product on the Handymade website, so that recycling is in accordance with the current sorting system in your region. Before handing over to collection, it is not necessary to wash the packaging perfectly, but it is important to remove larger product residues.

Yes, the smaller-volume glass bottle with sprayer is very practical for creating test and sample packaging of products, for example during the development of new formulas or the presentation of a planned cosmetic line. Thanks to the precise dosing, it is possible to work economically even with a smaller amount of formulation, which facilitates internal testing, sending samples to clients or selling travel mini versions of your products.
