Glass bottle – pharmaceutical bottle with white opaque glass and glossy black-gold dispenser represents an elegant and professional packaging for liquid cosmetic preparations. The opaque glass helps protect the contents from light and thus contributes to the stability of sensitive ingredients, while the high-quality dispenser ensures controlled and hygienic application of the product. This compact container is suitable for dispensing smaller amounts of high-value formulations where application precision and a premium appearance are important.
The combination of the glass bottle and glossy black-gold dispenser is designed to form a functional and design-coordinated whole. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing, and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products with unusual viscosity, a high content of active substances, or specific pH.

The glass bottle is generally suitable for most cosmetic formulations, including products with a higher content of active substances. Before final filling, however, we recommend performing your own stability test – checking the behavior of the product in contact with the packaging, the sealing of the dispenser and the long-term consistency under the chosen storage conditions. In this way you can confirm that the packaging is optimal for your specific product.
The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using an appropriate alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. At the same time, we recommend considering whether the new product is not significantly different (pH, type of oils, fragrance) in order to minimize the risk of cross-contamination. If you are not sure, it is more appropriate to choose new packaging.
Before first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle (rinsing with a suitable cleaning agent and then thoroughly rinsing with water) and, after drying, disinfecting it with alcohol. In practice, rinsing or spraying with alcohol has proven effective, for example with products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. The dispenser needs to be tested for alcohol flow-through in a small amount and then all parts should be allowed to dry well to minimize residual alcohol odor.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to recycle it according to the types of materials used, as stated in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle is usually placed in the glass container after emptying and basic rinsing, while the plastic and metal parts of the dispenser belong in plastic or metal collection, if the waste sorting system in your location allows it. Before handing over for recycling, we recommend removing product residues from the packaging so that the processing is more efficient and more environmentally friendly.
