Plastic bottle with spray mechanism represents a practical packaging for liquid preparations that is suitable for gentle and even atomization of products. Thanks to the plastic material used, the bottle is lightweight, resistant to normal handling and suitable for packaging various cosmetic and auxiliary solutions where convenient dosing in the form of a mist or fine spray is important. The sprayer enables targeted application to the skin, hair, surfaces or textiles according to the nature of the filled formulation.
Bottles sold as individual packaging are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the product details. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verify the sealing, dosing and behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, presence of alcohol, oils, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
To ensure smooth operation of the sprayer, we recommend filling the bottle slowly and without vigorous foaming, ideally using a funnel. After filling, leave sufficient space for the sprayer thread between the product level and the bottle neck to avoid overfilling. After screwing on the sprayer, press the bottle several times so that the system is primed with air and a stable spray pattern is created. In the case of more viscous solutions, it is advisable to make a test spray and, if necessary, adjust the formulation (e.g. dilute a high proportion of glycerin or the oil phase).
The packaging can be reused provided that basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and rinse the bottle and the sprayer and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation (for example with isopropyl alcohol or denatured plant-based ethanol). After treatment, allow the packaging to dry completely in a clean and protected place. When changing the type of product (for example from a cleaning solution to a cosmetic spray), always check that no residues of the previous formulation remain in the packaging that could compromise the new product.
During long-term use, the sprayer nozzle may become clogged with product residues, especially with preparations containing oils, floral macerates or fine particles. In such a case, it is advisable to unscrew the sprayer and rinse the dip tube and nozzle with lukewarm water and then with clear alcohol. After rinsing, let all parts dry and screw them back onto the bottle. It is also recommended to avoid overly thick emulsions and blends with undissolved particles that can mechanically clog the system.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle and sprayer, we recommend emptying them as much as possible and disposing of any remaining product according to the nature of the substance used (e.g. according to local recommendations for cosmetic or cleaning preparations). Then sort the packaging itself according to the type of material specified in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website. This usually means placing the plastic parts in the appropriate container for plastic waste according to local sorting rules. Before sorting, it is advisable to at least roughly rinse the packaging so that as little product residue as possible enters the sorted waste.
To make it easier to find suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. Using the filter, you can sort products according to key parameters – for example according to neck type, size, color or material. By combining these criteria, you can quickly narrow down the selection to bottles, jars or vials that best match your formulation and the intended dosing method.
