Plastic bottle – medicine bottle with black-gold spray pump and smoky cap represents an elegant and practical packaging suitable for filling various liquid preparations with a fine mist. Thanks to the combination of the transparent body and the smoky cap, you have visual control over the contents, while the dispensing is precise, comfortable and hygienic. This type of bottle is popular for the production of small batches of cosmetics, homemade blends and professional products, where reliable spray performance and a representative appearance of the packaging are important.
This bottle with spray pump forms a ready-made combination of packaging and dispensing component intended for immediate use without the need for an additional closure. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the type of dispensing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle, the spray pump and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you will find in the range as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After cleaning, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely and only then refill the container.
For routine cleaning, we recommend using a mild cleaning agent and lukewarm water. Avoid using very hot water, aggressive solvents or rough brushes that could scratch the plastic surface. After washing, rinse the container with clean water, let it drip off freely and dry completely. For disinfection, follow the recommendations for IPA or ethanol products and always check before the next filling that no residue of the cleaning solution remains in the packaging or in the spray pump.
Plastic packaging of this type is not intended for exposure to high temperatures. In contact with hot water, during boiling or during washing in a dishwasher, the container may deform, the thread may be damaged or the functionality of the spray pump may deteriorate. We therefore recommend cleaning only at lower temperatures, without boiling and without using a dishwasher. In this way, the packaging will retain its shape, functionality and aesthetic appearance over a longer period of use.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend first completely emptying it and removing any product residues. Then it is advisable to separate the individual parts (bottle body, spray pump, cap) according to the type of material used, as specified in the product parameters. Based on this information, choose the correct sorting container for plastic waste or another appropriate collection route. By following local waste sorting rules, you support efficient material recycling and reduce the amount of unnecessary waste.
When choosing a suitable bottle, medicine bottle or other type of packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. In the advanced filter, you can clearly filter by neck type, pack size, colour and material. In this way, you can easily display only those containers that correspond to your formulation, preferred design and planned dispensing method.
The spray pump is ideal particularly for low-viscosity, liquid products on a water or hydroalcoholic base, such as facial and body sprays, hydrolats, air fresheners, gentle cleaning solutions or aromatherapeutic room blends. For thicker or oil-based formulations, we recommend testing the spray performance before filling – checking the fineness and uniformity of the spray to make sure that the dispensing method will be suitable for your specific product.
