Fragrance oils - concentrated perfume ingredients for cosmetics and candles

Fragrance oils are mixtures of aromatic substances intended for perfuming cosmetics, soaps, diffusers and candles. They provide stable fragrance intensity , a wide range of tones and good compatibility with common bases (tenside systems, emulsions, waxes). They are suitable for both cosmetics and candles and allow precise sensory design of products.

When selecting, take into account the top, middle and base tones , the recommended dosage according to IFRA standards and the type of target product (leave-on, rinse-off, ambient products). For an overview of the range, please see the subsections below by olfactory family and seasonal themes.

Each item comes with complete documentation - MSDS, COA, IFRA and allergen list . We also recommend the essential oils and flavorings categories for distinction from essential oils and additional context.

Herbal and spicy fragrances

Herbal, aromatic and warm notes (e.g. lavender, rosemary, cinnamon). Suitable for body cosmetics, soaps and diffusers. See herbal and spicy fragrances.

Floral fragrances

From light to rich floral accords (jasmine, rose, gardenia). Ideal for creams, environmental perfumes and candles. Go for floral fragrances.

Fruity and citrus fragrances

Fresh and juicy profiles, suitable for shower cosmetics and summer candle collections. You'll find them in fruity and citrus fragrances.

Food and drink fragrances

Gourmand compositions (vanilla, coffee, chocolate, cocktails) with a distinctive "comfort" effect for candles and diffusers. See food and drink fragrances.

Christmas fragrances

Seasonal mixes accented with spices, pine needles and sweet notes - suitable for limited editions. Browse Christmas fragrances.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

How to choose the dosage of fragrance oil in cosmetics and candles?

Follow IFRA standards for product type and your own test results. In cosmetics usually 0.1-1% (leave-on) and 0.3-3% (rinse-off). In candles, test the percentage of fragrance, wax type and wick for optimum "hot/cold throw".

Are fragrance oils suitable for all cosmetic bases?

They are widely compatible with tensides, emulsions and oil systems. We recommend stability testing (phase, color, viscosity) in the target base prior to final production.

What documents are available for fragrance oils?

SDS (MSDS) , Certificate of Attestation (COA) , IFRA declaration and allergen list . The documentation facilitates compliance with legislation and labelling of finished products.

How do the notes affect the durability of the fragrance?

The base notes hold the fragrance longer, the middle notes create character and the top notes bring the initial impression. The result also depends on compatibility with the base and the percentage of perfumation chosen.

Is it possible to combine fragrance oils with essential oils?

Yes, this is a common practice. Follow the IFRA limits for total fragrance ingredient content and test for both compatibility and the resulting olfactorial profile in a particular base.
