The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle and the sprayer in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and product degradation. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. In the Handymade range you will find the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný etanol, which are suitable for disinfecting packaging in home production. After cleaning, let all parts dry completely and only then refill the packaging.

Before repeated use, we recommend disassembling the packaging into its individual parts, removing any residues of the original product and washing the bottle with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. It is then appropriate to carry out disinfection – for example by rinsing or spraying the inner surface and the components with an alcohol solution. As a disinfectant, you can use isopropyl alcohol available on the page IPA 99 isopropyl alkohol 1 l or plant-based ethanol Etanol 96 denaturovaný rastlinný 1 l. After disinfection, let all parts dry freely at room temperature and only then use the packaging again.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material information given in the parameter table for the product on Handymade. Before disposal, remove as much of the remaining contents from the packaging as possible and sort the individual parts according to the type of material. Plastic components generally belong in the container designated for plastics; in the case of composite materials, follow the local waste sorting rules. By placing the packaging in the appropriate collection container, you will support effective recycling and reduce the amount of mixed waste.

The plastic packaging is designed for use at normal room temperatures; it is not suitable for exposure to high heat. It is not recommended to leave the bottle near sources of radiant heat, in an overheated car or to expose it to hot water. Excessive heating may lead to softening or deformation of the plastic, which may affect the sealing and the functionality of the sprayer. The packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. The safest way is to clean it by hand, in lukewarm water and with gentle mechanical handling.
