Square glass bottle with black–gold spray pump represents an elegant and practical packaging for various liquid products where gentle and even dosing by spraying is important. Thanks to high-quality glass and a precise dosing mechanism, the bottle is suitable for filling cosmetic products, perfume mists and other formulations that require controlled application.
This type of packaging is ideal for smaller product batches, testers and travel sizes, where emphasis is placed on a professional appearance, reliable protection of the contents and comfortable use by the end customer. The combination of the glass container and the functional spray pump enables safe and hygienic use while maintaining the stability of the packaged product.
This glass bottle with spray pump forms a functional set designed for convenient and precise dosing in the form of a fine spray. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the uniformity of dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, essential oils or other active substances).

The glass container is generally well tolerated by alcohol-based formulations as well as by preparations containing essential oils. For every new product, however, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the functionality of the spray pump, the sealing and the stability of the product over time. Especially with a higher proportion of essential oils, it is important to monitor the viscosity and whether the spray mechanism doses the product evenly.
The packaging can be reused if correct hygiene principles are observed. Before every new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to minimize the risk of microbial contamination or mutual influence between the original and the new product. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol available in the Handymade range, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After cleaning and disinfection, allow the bottle and the spray pump to dry completely before refilling them.
First, rinse the bottle thoroughly with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water to remove any residues of the previous product. Then rinse the packaging with clean water so that no detergent residues remain, and afterwards disinfect it with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. We recommend flushing the spray pump with a small amount of alcohol and pressing the mechanism several times so that the alcohol reaches the entire system. Before refilling, let all parts dry completely at room temperature.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the standard waste sorting rules specified in the product parameters on the Handymade website. The glass bottle can usually, after being emptied and basically rinsed, be placed in the glass container, while the plastic spray pump is normally sorted into plastic waste unless the product parameters state otherwise. Before handing it over for recycling, it is advisable to remove any product residues and separate the individual parts (glass container and plastic spray pump) so that the material can be recovered as efficiently as possible.
