The glass bottle with spray pump represents a professional solution for packaging liquid preparations that require gentle and even application in the form of a mist. Durable glass combined with a functional mechanical spray pump ensures reliable protection of the contents and convenient dosing for both home and small-scale artisanal cosmetic production.
This packaging is designed to minimize the product’s contact with air and the user’s hands, thereby helping to maintain formulation stability and extend shelf life. It is particularly suitable for liquid and low-viscosity formulations that need to be dispersed into a fine aerosol – from cosmetic toners to aromatic blends for interior spaces.
This bottle is supplied in combination with a functional spray pump, which is adapted to this specific type of packaging to ensure reliable sealing and comfortable application. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing, and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Glass packaging is generally very suitable for most liquid cosmetic preparations, including formulations containing alcohol. Before final filling, we recommend carrying out a trial filling to verify the behaviour of the specific product over time (stability of fragrance, colour and viscosity) and the functionality of the spray pump with the selected consistency.
The packaging can be reused, provided hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly washed, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol component is the bottle ready for the next filling.
The spray pump is designed primarily for low-viscosity, liquid formulations. With thicker emulsions or oil blends, spraying may be impaired or the nozzle may become clogged. Therefore, we recommend first filling only a small amount of product and testing whether the consistency is suitable for spraying. If necessary, adjust the composition (for example by diluting) or choose another dosing type that is better suited to the specific product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. After thorough emptying and cleaning, the glass bottle is usually placed in the container designated for glass, while the plastic parts of the spray pump belong in plastic waste (according to the material marking on the packaging). When sorting, follow the information provided in the product parameter table on Handymade.sk and the recommendations of your local waste collection service.
